I have to admit that I wasn't really sure if I would enjoy Blue Bloods but the book was actually great! It wasn't very lucky for the rabbit, but the season premiere of Blue Bloods featured the Reagan clan in need of some extra good luck. Blue Bloods, the first installment in Melissa de la Cruz series that came out about a half decade ago was thrust upon me by my teenage daughter. It had an amazing plot with characters to relate to and laugh with. I'm after the Shopaholic series in these cover styles because I just like them so much more. I also got to participate in a bloggers lunch with the absolutely amazing Melissa de la Cruz (right), author of Blue Bloods and the upcoming novel Frozen. None of the official summaries of the book reveal much about the vampire lore, so let me tell you just in case it's not your style either. The Rithmatist and Her Mother's Shadow were sent over for review *cheer* and apparently Her Mother's Shadow is part 3 of a trilogy so I've reserved books 1 and 2 in the library. Blue Bloods is heavily steeped in Christianity. We're going to have another Blue Bloods book called Bloody Valentine, it will actually detail Allegra and Stephen's, Schuyler's human father's, love story.
